The Ward’s roots can be directly traced to the classic Vans Style 36, which was the first skate shoe to feature the now iconic “jazz stripe” and leather panels for increased durability.  The Ward provides a modern approach to the iconic side stripe driven silhouette with a u-throat eye-row design and heritage driven upper paneling.  Combine this with our vulcanized construction and Vans’ original waffle tread with legendary gum rubber compound for a classic look and feel.
